Greg A. Campbell

Greg A. Campbell is a principal with the firm of Hammond and Shinners, P.C. He specializes in the representation of labor unions and employees benefit funds. He has spoken on labor and employment issues at a variety of conferences. His significant cases include obtaining $4.2 million in backpay for probation and parole employees in Service Employees International Union Local 2006 v. State of Missouri, 214 S.W. 3d 368 (Mo. App. W.D. 2007). Mr. Campbell has been chosen for the 2017 Lawyer of the Year for Labor Law – Union in St. Louis.

EDUCATION

Mr. Campbell received his B.A. in political science from the University of Kentucky in 1976 and his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 1985.

Mr. Campbell is admitted to the Missouri Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh, Eighth and District of Columbia Circuits and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri and Southern District of Illinois.

Mr. Campbell is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (“BAMSL”), and a former chair of the BAMSL Labor and Employment Law Section. Mr. Campbell has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 2014. He performs pro bono work on behalf of the Volunteer Lawyers Program of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
