Rick Shinners, one of the founding members of Hammond and Shinners, P.C. , has been engaged in the representation of labor unions and related employee benefit plans in Metropolitan St. Louis, and Southern and Central Illinois since 1977.
Mr. Shinners graduated summa cum laude with an Honors A.B. degree from Xavier University in 1972. He graduated magna cum laude from St. Louis University School of Law in 1975, where he was a member of the Order of the Woolsack.
Mr. Shinners is admitted to the Missouri (1975) and Nebraska (1976) Bars. He is also admitted to the Eastern District of Missouri and the Central District of Illinois, 8th Circuit.

Mr. Shinners is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Nebraska Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Lawyers Coordinating Committee of the AFL-CIO.
