The firm has extensive experience in all aspects of representing employee benefit funds including ERISA compliance, tax qualification, collection of contributions, fiduciary responsibility, drafting plans and summary plan descriptions, and litigation. | | | LABOR LAW | | Since its founding in 1979, Hammond and Shinners, P.C. has represented unions in labor law matters. The firm represents both public and private sector unions in a wide array of industries, including construction, transportation, utility, and service. The firm has extensive experience in all aspects of labor law including negotiation, arbitration, National Labor Relations Board representation, and litigation. | | | PROBATE | | Our firm has two attorneys, Richard Shinners, and Bob Mandava who actively handle all aspects of probate practice, including decedent’s estates and guardianship estates. Our workers' compensation clients are not required to pay a retainer nor are they asked to advance the costs of litigation except in the most unusual circumstances.
