Ms. Perez received a B.A. in Sociology with an Employment Relations emphasis from Southern Illinois University in 2003, and a J.D. and Certificate in Employment Law from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2006, where she was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient.

Ms. Perez is admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

Ms. Perez is a member of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee, the American Bar Association (“ABA”) Section of Labor and Employment Law, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (“BAMSL”) and the Illinois State Bar Association. She serves as a volunteer attorney coach for BAMSL’s annual Teens Speak Out program. She coaches the team from Ursuline Academy, her alma mater.

In 2009, Ms. Perez was awarded a Young Lawyer Fellowship by the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law. She is an active member of the Section’s committee on Practice and Procedure Under the National Labor Relations Act. In addition, she is on the editorial board for the committee’s BNA publication, How to Take a Case Before the NLRB.
