Ms. Dalton is a principal in the law firm of Hammond and Shinners, P.C. She practices in the areas of workers' compensation and Social Security Disability, representing individuals in Missouri and in Illinois. Ms. Dalton has lectured on workers’ compensation benefits at legal education seminars, union meetings and on behalf of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys for the education of various civic groups.

Ms. Dalton received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989 and a J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1992.

Ms. Dalton is admitted to the Missouri (1992) and Illinois Bars (1993).

She is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL), the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), and the Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) where she serves as one of two State captains in Missouri. She is also a member of the Workers’ Compensation Law Sections of both the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the Illinois State Bar Association.
